• Many of you perhaps already are aware that on 10 December the STB denied the Norfolk Southern(NS)/Watco petitions filed this past July to sell approximately 300 miles of railroad right-of-way in southern Michigan, inclusive of the segment located between Ypsilanti and Kalamazoo of the Detroit-Chicago Amtrak route.

To better address the concerns of county residents, WATS would like to share the draft recommendations and provide an opportunity to get your input on the plan. Please join WATS for one of the attached meetings. There will be a presentation as well as time for your questions and comments.
