Transportation Coordinating Council (TCC)

The purpose of the TCC is to improve efficiency, reduce duplication, and extend and improve transportation services in Washtenaw County. TCC will engage stakeholders in order to provide recommendations on ways to broaden transportation service coverage to help disadvantaged populations gain adequate access to work, work-related services and life-sustaining activities for health and well-being. The TCC will primarily focus on but not be limited to issues and extensions of practice and advocacy on behalf of older adults, people with disabilities and people with low income within Washtenaw County.

The TCC is charged with developing and updating the Washtenaw County Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Plan.  Click here to learn more about the Coordinated Plan.

Getting In Touch and Becoming A Member

The TCC Email list is used to manage committee communications and up-to-date meeting information.  Please contact Mark Ferrall at ferrallm@miwats.org if you would like to join the email list.  You do not need to be a member to join the email list.

If you are interested in joining the TCC as a voting member, you will be required to attend 2 meetings before becoming eligible.  Thereafter, you are required to attend 60% of meetings in a calendar year to retain your member status.  Not everyone who attends meetings is required to be a member, membership allows you to vote on actionable items.
