WATS Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP)
WATS’ federally-funded planning efforts are guided by the WATS Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP). The UPWP is prepared every December and is effective from July 1st of the following year through June 30th of the subsequent year.
On December 10th, 2025, WATS published the DRAFT FY-27 UPWP. Once the document is final, it will be effective from July 1st, 2026 - June 30th, 2027.
WATS encourages the public to comment on the DRAFT FY-27 UPWP until the end of the public comment period (December 17th, 2025). The draft document can be found below. To provide comments, please call the WATS office at (734) 994-3127 or email wats@miwats.org.
