At their September 4 meeting, the Huron I-94 Steering Committee reviewed feasible crossing alternatives for a non-motorized crossing on the Huron St. Bridge over I-94, feedback from the public on the alternatives, likely funding opportunities and input from MDOT, the bridge owner.  The Steering Committee Selected Alternative 4 (Median Pedestrian Path and Two-way Cycle Track) as the preferred alternative, with Alternative 1 (Shared-use Path on West Side of Bridge) as a second preference.

The preferred alternative will be going to Ypsilanti City Council and Ypsilanti Township Board of Trustees on September 16 for their acceptance.
