2016 Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) Awards

CMAQ funds target improvements to traffic operations and air quality by funding projects that reduce congestion. Eligible projects include roadway infrastructure as well as public transit enhancements. A list of 2016 CMAQ awards are listed below:
- AAATA - Outreach and Rideshare program - Federal $455,000
- AAATA - Bus Replacement - Federal $240,000 - State $60,000
- Ann Arbor - Seventh from Scio Church to Miller - Expand existing signal traffic adaptive control system - Federal $674,000 - Local $157,000
- WCRC - Scio Church at Wagner - Construct roundabout - Federal $564,000 - Local $140,000
- WCRC - Diesel replacement - Replace four trucks with newer, less polluting models - Federal $400,000 - Local $500,000
